What began as a New Year’s lark for some has become an occasion to support good. The Polar Plunges, Marathons, Walkathons, and Challenges are significant ways to generate support for causes creating change for a better world. Massachusetts Lions can support Our Mission and service partners through our participation in these events.

If you are interested in supporting Lions and their service partners either by participating in fundraising and awareness events or by coordinating or promoting events, please complete the information below and become a member of the Lions Plunging Team.

Special Olympics Polar Plunge
DETAILS TO COME
Take the Polar Plunge this winter to help provide over 14,000 athletes with a safe opportunity to participate in sports training and competition programs that help them live longer, happier, healthier lives. From December through April, each plunger will commit to raising at least $100 to support Special Olympics athletes throughout the state. Every dollar raised directly supports year-round sports training and competition for athletes with intellectual disabilities in Massachusetts.

Lions Polar Plunge
Continuing the tradition, the Lions of Norfolk, Plainville, and Wrentham are preparing the Polar Plunge for 2025.

The MA Lions Plunging Team will be plunging for Lions Clubs International Foundation at the 2025 Massachusetts Lions MD33 Convention. Details will be available at the convention. Come for an evening dip to support LCIF. Lions guests are invited to join the team in support of Our Foundation. Plunge, support the team, or support a plunger and make a difference in the world with your friends.
