MASSACHUSETTS LIONS JOIN TO COMMEMORATE THE 250th ANNIVERSARY OF THE AMERICAN EXPERIMENT.

Massachusetts is the birthplace of the American Experiment. As the nation marks the 250th anniversary of that birth, the Lions of Massachusetts will join with their communities in celebrating the key foundational events that led to American Independence.

The Shot Heard ‘Round the World.

The engagements of regular British troops with the local militia on April 19, 1775 at Lexington and Concord were the first spark of the War of Independence.

The annual commemoration parades will be held on Saturday April 19, 2025. The Lions of Massachusetts will join with the Lions of Lexington and Concord to represent their communities and to acknowledge a heritage of service.

Bunker Hill - Don’t Shoot Until You See the Whites of Their Eyes

The Battle of Bunker Hill was a pivotal moment for the patriot cause. Fought on June 17, 1775, the battle was the first engagement of what would become the Continental Army and later the United States Army.

The annual parade will be on Sunday June 15, 2025 and will traverse for almost two miles through the Charlestown neighborhood of Boston.
